Okay so for my birthday i got the PC parts i needed to building a PC. But the issue is my computer wont connect to my tv with my hdmi ( yes im using a tv for a monitor get over it you nub) but long story short i thought i wouldnt need my laptop nymore because i didnt think i would have a problem with HDMI of all things so i deleted gmod of my laptop and it cant come back for some reason. so untill my PC works i wont be on gmod. it may take a week, or i can take it into a computer place and see the problem. if i do it this way idk how long i will be gone

Oh if you want your PC to display on HDMI, just connect it to the HDMI port, if you have that kind of TV. Sometimes you'll need an adapter, sometimes not, but occasionally you might not be able to connect, in which case I can't help you .

Update: i got it to actually show up on the screen i just need to get windows and shit on it

yeah you don't need to install windows just play games through your bios

And yeah @"Kingbacon" just install Steam for bios and play gmod with that. It's way faster

Btw, if you ever had a console (PS4 Xbox, Wii U, Wii, etc.) They kinda work the same with an HDMI cord. You might need 2 Cords. One for video Output and 1 for input. (Input on TV, Output on Computer Tower.) The Other Cord can go opposite so your Tower and "Monitor" Sync and work correctly. I might be explaining it hard for understanding, but it's easy. I've done it a few times.

Wtf are you talking about? Have you actually ever used any kind of video cable in your life? It doesn't work like that, none of it works like that.
