Wtf are you talking about? You don't need to install anything besides gmod to play gmod.

apparently for him, gmod is too "broken" to play without hl2 installed. I'm guessing that mewans theres too many errors to deal with when he plays gmod without hl2 installed

That's not possible unless "errors" are actually missing models/materials, which even then wouldn't make sense since most models/materials are from css.

alright so my internet got better, (thankfully) and I got gmod working and my lfg textures downloaded.
