LFG is dying

Welp, LFG is dying. Unfortunately, I'm sticking until the very end, but I, and I assume everyone else can tell, Lenny Face Gaming is dying. So far it's been a good 4 years, where LFG prospered. But, as we all know, all good must come to an eventual end. Lenny is going the way of NoxiousNet (https://noxiousnet.com/) 

I'm just here to give my reasons as to why I believe it's dying soon.

1. All the old members are leaving and very few are joining


Everybody knows how many people have been leaving. Demonik, @apekis, @Dogesky, etc. But how many new members (that aren't under 12 like @The Shingler or autistic) have been joining? People are leaving faster than they can come back. There are no consultants, advisors, and the only server that gets consistent players is Sandbox. As far as I know, nobody actually plays TTT or DR. Prophunt and DarkRP are even less alive, kind of like JB. Unless a burst of new members join suddenly (that can sign the COPPA or not need to, shingler) LFG will be gone

2. The servers are consistently dead

Every server except Sandbox are dead. TTT, ZS (Noooo ), PH, JB, DarkRP, The Rust and Unturned server aren't even UP, like TTT #2. It's really kind of sad. All the old servers I used to love so much are gone, and I feel many can say the same. 
As soon as Sandbox falls, it's all over. I don't want to say that, but it's the truth.

If you have any other reasons, please post below. Any nostalgiac moments are welcome as well. Like the "Fuck the Overlord" quote, or @Pixel getting banned every 10 minutes.

its safe to say that the end of summer is also a large reason. during summer we get enough players to almost fill up all sbox slots, but during school, the servers are mostly empty. the same thing happened last year, though we are didn't exactly lose this many players.

Trust me, the end of summer is not a large reason. There's just not enough inflow of members, ever. LFG has slowly been dying. As much as I'd love to say we're all going to go out with a bang, we aren't. We won't have a 12 year community, it will be 4-6 max.

Hey guys, I have an idea for a

"LFG is over" party

When @SaintLuther decides it's finally time to pull the plug, we can all go on Sandbox, or TTT, or whatever, and @SaintLuther could read out an obituary, an ode to LFG.

If this comes to play, we could all spawn creations, make new contraptions, code E2, and just have the whole server be amazing, with many great contraptions, creations, and no rules other than crashing the server. We could have a ceremony, where we all read out what we loved about LFG, like the community, or fantastic servers, or whatever.

We would not be celebrating the death of LFG, but the life of it.

At the end, I was thinking @SaintLuther could close the other servers that aren't Sandbob, and just use the money saved from that to do a massive giveaway, giving away money, games, etc.

Hopefully, when our kingdom comes crashing down and we must flee, guideless, into the wild jungles of the internet
We can all stay connected, stay together, so we never lose our memories.

I was thinking of keeping these forums open, the chatbox still usable, but only in "read" mode. Nothing can be changed or edited, not even your profile. But as a memorial, LFG could still have one thing open, AKA its history.

At the end of it all, we all detonate explosives, unfreeze everything, and when the server crashes, instead of seeing a "Uh oh! The server crashed!" page, there would be a small story of how the server came to fruition, how @SaintLuther is sad to see it go, but that nothing good can last forever, and give out mentions, to every memorable player that has played on LFG, or Lenny Face Gaming's indefinite LOA.

Yeah that would be amazing keep the forums up for memories and someone record the last moments of LFG so we can remember it forever

Leaving is inevitable.. people can't be expected to be interested in gmod forever. And yes if the server they came for died they don't have much reason to stay. But idfk what you're talking about with people joining because there's new members almost daily.

2. The servers are consistently dead

Yeah, except Sandbox is always at around 30 people and the forums have like 60 (if you include guests, bots, etc). You also listed servers that never mattered like Rust or Unturned. TTT and PH are rarely populated, and the others are almost always 0.

But Sandbox shows no signs of slowing down, so until then this thread is pretty retarded.
