I'm running on a dell laptop and yes it's true I lag a little but like not that much dude. We want vfire because we want to do a fire department RP and we literally added a vehicle addon and hose just for this so saying that vfire is a useless addon is bs.

This is a sandbox server, not an RP server

well some of us enjoy RP on sandbox, might not be why you play on it but sometimes we like to change things up a bit. Plus if you're having problems running it there is a vote to extinguish and (most of the time) we don't overdo it with the vfire.

From what i can tell Bengis isnt really on that much. at least compared to most members. it may just be a time zone thing and i'm just retarded but whatever.

Its sandbox, that means do whatever you want within the confines of the rules (and sometimes outside but only under special circumstances)

My dude, the tiny amount of lag Vfire creates has little to no impact on most PCs. If your running in a Pentium i suggest getting a new PC. Alternately get a graphics card if you dont have one. even a cheap one is better than no graphics card.


Also, on a sidenote, that is a very suspicious asterisk.

Vfire, from what I've heard, is supposedly heavily optimized; it shouldn't cause any lag at all. It certainly doesn't cause server-side lag, the only issues I've had with it have been sometimes when I look at a particularly thick cluster of fire (and even then it doesn't do that much).
