Hey guys,

for the next few days I may not be on due to not having power. Matthew is coming towards us, and should hit by Thursday evening. The house is getting prepared as I write this. Wish me luck

You'll probably be fine. Might lose power, and minor damage, but unless it's a massive hurricane like Katrina was, you probably won't die.

Excuse my ignorance, But why can you not move out of state until the hurricane leaves?

A. Takes four hours to get to anywhere, B parents don't want to leave, and C, I'm not near the coast so just high winds.
