My computer's main storage drive has stopped functioning (again) and im having a lot less luck getting it to work properly. While the last few times, it just started "working" again on its own, I haven't been able to get it working since Sunday. Thankfully, I'm nearly done with my new PC. If things go according to plan, I should get the final part and have it together by this weekend.

What do you mean by file drive? Isn't that a cloud thing like Google drive? Because when I Google "PC file drive" all I find is Google drive related stuff

Only one slot works. Besides, i can barely get my other programs that are on my hard drive to work. if my storage drive is even detected by my PC again, the hard drives issues might get in my way anyway.

I was able to get another storage drive, which works. Hopefully it can last until I build the new pc

update again: those hard drive issues I mentioned in the replies have gotten worse. Many programs I stored on like windows became corrupted. I tried installing an old hard drive in the hopes to at least get the computer to work, but all I got was this:
