Gmod controls issue

My game for whatever reason is constantly try to use a joystick. I tried using -nojoy in launch options, I tired using exec undo360controller in console which also didn't work. I couldn't find anything online and despite making a forum post in the gmod bugs section, I dint get much help there either.

This is what happens every time I try to change the options

Some controls stop working (like using voice chat), which really screws things up for me. Does anyone know how to fix this?

im not using an xbox 360 controller or a joystick. the gamepad im using right now is the same one ive been using for gmod for over 2 years. I haven't had this issue before

there was an update for the razer drivers, try updating.

if that doesnt work try plugging in a controller, running gmod, then disconnecting the controller and restarting

if that doesnt work youre fucked

update: it took me a while to figure out the main issues. the game still displays the joystick stuff in console, but it doesn't actually impact my controls (at least not anymore). some of my controls weren't working because the game auto-binded them to something else when it tried using the joystick controls, which I fixed just by rebinding the controls. My microphone wouldn't work because of a different error.
