I've noticed a lot of new players cant seem to find the rules despite it being on the welcome page. Even @"『MoC』Xenon" after being in the community for 3 years couldn't find it. Since both him and new players lack a brain, but can still read, I've decided to make some new ideas for the welcome screen. (none of these are a final design, more of a general design)

Template 1: A simple redesign, just put the rules and links right under the welcome screen

Template 2: A more aggressive welcome screen. New players will get the message

Template 3: Directly points the rules out for you, I know Xenon still wont find it, but that's ok, he doesn't follow them anyway

Template 4: This one will definitely make anyone read the rules

Template 5: This is for all the darkrp players who just started playing sandbox

yeah i actually like template 2, i'm pretty sure it encourages new players to check the rules, unless they don't want to see the word 'fuck' or don't take the word seriously

ngl we get kids on a lot with that second template I think it will scare them off, use the 2 template.

I assume you mean this as a replacement to !motd, and not to the loading screen?

there was an event almost a year ago, you probably don't remember it. but you basically said in voice chat couldn't figure out where the rules were. I mentioned it in the LFG chatbox when that happened, but I don't remember the month
