Ok guys what is THE single hardest boss in the entire Dark Souls series?

The fume knight from DS2 DLC 2. took me like a good 3 hours on NG+ to kill the sucker. Not to mention i didnt know about the bonfire next to the boss room for the 3 hours so i was running for like 5 minutes everytime i died.

To answer how to kill the four kings, get havels armor, an ultra greatsword, and run right up to them and beat them to death.

My problem was that I was trying to get into the darkwraith covenant so I was fairly under leveled. I was also doing a hybrid build so I had to use the knight's shield and some sword (can't remember which one). I did end up beating the game on that save tho (that's my 9th time beating the game.

Well my main DkS2 save is on NG+++++++ (NG+7) and I'm still trying to beat him. I've tried lightning smelter hammer and everything. Even tried summoning people that were straight up using dual fume ugs. At NG+7 he's next to impossible

Well I haven't beaten DkS3 yet so I can't quite tell you yet... but from DkS and DkS2 it's easily Fume Knight. He is statistically the hardest boss (most damage compared to the amount of health he has (he also has (I think) like, the 3rd most health so it's a big deal))

I wanna try to revive this thread, so I have 2 questions... what's your highest leveled legit character on any souls game and how much time do you have logged on a single character. Mine's lvl 264 on DkS2 rn and I have 203 hrs on him

My highest is dark souls 1, level 147, 94 hours or so on him

Uh, dark souls 1, level 1-2 maybe? I quit after breaking out of the prison cus I wasn't told where to go and I kept getting killed by like, everything.

I can see you getting hit by the boulder on to and the stairs. I can also see you (instead of plunging attacking) just falling on the demon's head and continuing to have a shield but not use it as you R1'd the fight
