Do you have a mac computer? If so it won't launch unless you update the mac itself I had a mac and that's why I don't like Apple. If when you try to open Gmod and it says Error: No SteamID, right click your task bar click on Open task manager, find Steam, click on steam, click end process until it closes then try relaunching steam.
