I've actually seen people get mad and leave the server just because of the OPSkins ad at the beginning. Why even sponsor a site that's probably going to be down in a couple weeks?

Well, the advertisements aren't going anywhere because they provide revenue to keep the servers up and running. If they don't like it, they can always donate $1 to permanently remove advertisements on all LFG servers.
