Unturned is literally its own game. Look it up in Steam. It's a shitty zombie survival type game with minecraft graphics.
No, the other servers are not free. Unturned is free because of the program called Unturned Server Organizer, which is a free Unturned server hosting program. It's not like a dedicated server that runs on its own host though, it runs based on your own computer so it's more likely to be laggy than a dedicated server. All gmod servers we have are dedicated servers, so they're mostly lag-less. Exception is Sandbox and DarkRP when several people are on building bases.

I like the idea of advertising the servers more but I'd rather not replace some inactive servers with some new servers that'll most likely just become inactive too.

Yes, people go batshit crazy for a murder server, but it's kind of like a little kid. 

They get the murder server, stay on it for a few weeks so people can spam operator applications. 

Then never get on again.
