My friend tried to join earlier and got a still ad instead of a video. It also made it so you couldnt click the button on the bottom of the page. Please fix

I don't control what ads they see, so it's possible there were no ads available so it didn't play anything.

Could or couldn't?

Because there's been a few times where I've gotten an advert popup and couldn't close it because pinion (advert addon) was giving an error (spamming console). The only thing I could do was close gmod and reconnect to the server.

I mean, that's not a really good solution since this could happen to a guest who joins the server for the first time...

Never said it's a good solution, just said it's A solution.
But I know this happens to a few people (not being able to close the ad window), I just don't know how to fix it outside of kicking them (at their request) so they can rejoin.

Was it the first time he saw an ad, or was it one of the ads that plays every 20 minutes?

I know I was forum banned and had to reexperience ads. It was horrible. This happened to me once before and it was like a map change ad.

This is weird @SaintLuther but can at the end of a ad it brings up the unikrn signup page, even though i'm premium can i just get that page and the ability to skip it whenever i want?
