Can we get a better service provider to reduce lag on sandbox?
or
Lower the max of players that can get on?
cos it lags alot when a lot of people on


Another suggestion is can you take away the auto freeze  when some lag is happening cos it gets annoying

Service provider: We have one of the best connections to the internet possible, sub 1 ms ping. If you're referring to computational performance, it's about 80% as fast as the best theoretical server for gmod could be.
Auto freeze: You can't suggest we reduce lag and also suggest we remove one of the only things keeping the server from crashing.
What's actually causing lag is (barely/un) restricted prop physics (everyone booed at the idea of it), high per-player prop count, unoptimized addons (I'm sure we have plenty), the sheer amount of addons we have, E2s which use too many cycles, and gmod in general not being optimized for distributing the processing load across available resources.
Sure if we set the player limit to 10 there would rarely be lag, but it would also be retarded.
