I will be wiping my computer today because of a member of my family leaving with an administrator account tied to my computer, unable to access it, I will have to wipe my computer to utilize all of its features again, such as upgrading to Win10. If anyone has any recommendations for programs for me to download, I would like to hear them. Thanks in advance!

Steam is pretty useful. It lets you play games.
TeamSpeak is pretty useful, it lets you talk to people.

I will take those 2 into consideration, but no guarantee that I will add them.

If you need antivirus, or just a computer booster, Advanced System Care is something useful. It scans a lot of things in your pc and makes it perform faster.

Ok, so what initially happened was i tried to format my computer, but in safe mode the comp doesn't display on extra monitors i.e. my TV. Since my laptop screen is mostly broken, i can only really see things in the top right 1/4 of the screen, and it is pretty hard to see even then. This made navigating the computer very difficult, so i tried to do a format but am not entirely sure what happened. I got to the screen for it, i think, and then pressed around until i thought i hit the "confirm" button, i left if for a few hours while it had the spinning circle mouse pointer, and when i came back it was still just there, so i force shut down the computer. When i restarted the computer i got an error basically saying that the boot was fucked, and it couldn't start. I proceeded to have a panic attack and after a while i decided to do some research and found out that i could reinstall win7 or win8 from using Rufus to make an installation USB, i tried it with my brothers win8, which did not work for a reason i will address later. So i found out i could do the same installation USB thing but with win10. So we did one for win10 pro, which still didn't work for a reason, and eventually we made the win10 home install USB and i figured out it needed the win7 code on the bottom of my laptop, and i got past the 1st screen by clicking near where i thought the "next" button was. After that screen there was a terms and conditions screen, and i had to look up videos to show me where the buttons were, and i eventually figured out that the selector starts on the check box, so all i had to do was press enter when i got there, but then had to scramble around until i found the "next" button. Next boss was the install method screen, there were 2 simple choices, i wanted the top one, i spent about an hour trying to figure out how to do it, but gave up because i couldn't see the buttons and nobody had screenshots or videos of that screen. Eventually i tried choice 2, which was significantly more complex, with options to format, delete, refresh, etc. the drives in my PC, i eventually figured out that i had to click each little drive and then figure out where the "format" button was, formatted them, and began my install. After i had done this i left my computer for the night. In the morning it started to look more like Win10, but i had to leave for school. When i got home i had to do a few extra steps like creating a user account, all without 3/4 of a screen. Needless to say, it was quite difficult. Eventually i finalized the install and had the computer set up for use. Just a small issue, pressing F4 didn't let me switch to duplicate screens or anything, but a quick search told me all i had to do was manually update a driver, and viola, here is my Win10. All I have left to do is move all my steam games and whatnot onto this and i am done. All in all I rate my experience -5/10

Not exactly sure what happened but ok, also why was your laptop's screen broken? if don't full get the story so it would be great if somebody simplified it.
