Extreme lag spikes, only in LFG Deathrun

Title explains most of the problem. Whenever I join your Deathrun, throughout the entire experience I get random, out-of-nowhere, lag spikes which usually lead me to my death. All while having a steady 12-14 ping level... It only occurs on LFG which greatly saddens me, have reinstalled Gmod because of it, but to no avail. I am not usually one to depend on others help, but I am clueless as to how I can stop this. Please, help.

Might be some background stuff running that's causing it then idk, I never get these lag spikes on Deathrun. I do on Sandbox, when someone loads a large PAC but otherwise I'm fine.

Wierd, the only times were i lag on deathrun is when people spawn (example: (STEAM_0:0:66686035) LFG SCMC has spawned), (not the start of the round) may be that. Also sometimes on the map dr_minecraft it happens that you somehow get pushed by something or also the spider near spawn pushes you if you walk on it and that may be confuzed as lag.

Lag spikes usually occur when players join. Not sure exactly what addon is causing it or if it's just the server itself. Deathrun is running on a slower server but I would rather not move it to a faster one due to IP changes.

It's not Lenny's fault, it has to do with your computer, try clearing your gmod cache, and what fps do you get while it happens, for me it used to be 4 fps about ever 30 to 60 seconds for about 20 minutes. If it's any different most likely you just have a shit pc.

Also like Saint said it can also be addons try disabling or un-installing all the ones you never use and make sure nothing's running in the background.

Sorry for the late reply. These are ping spikes. I don't have any extra addons, like I previously said, I unsubscribed from all addons, and reinstalled Gmod. I reinstalled Gmod on the day of the me posting this thread. I get 60 fps constantly, frame-locked, without frame-locking it get anywhere from 120-200 frames. I am 100% sure I don't have a shit pc. I can play the same DR map (deathrun_minecraft_finalfix for instance) on ANY other server and I don't have problems. As soon as I attempt to play on LFG, shit happens. People can join servers while I'm in them, no problem. I don't experience any problems with people joining. And for the record, I'm not blaming my problems on LennyFaceGaming, at all. I simply posted a Help thread stating my problem, and asked for assistance.

Honestly, any server with a lot of things like that to track, especially things which more or aren't persistent is going to lag sometimes. My prime example is DarkRP. Lags like hell sometimes, especially when there's been a lot of players since a restart.
